19 Year Old Pullman Woman Arrested On Felony Assault Count For Allegedly Biting Her Infant Nephew

A 19-year-old Pullman woman has been arrested on a felony assault charge for allegedly biting her infant nephew.

Pullman Police were called to a home on Military Hill on Wednesday night.  The parents of a six-month-old called officers after discovering bite marks on their baby.  The infant’s aunt Tia Brown had been watching the baby for about an hour and a half.  Officers determined that Brown allegedly bit the infant several times.  Police say Brown was intoxicated.  She was arrested for  2nd degree felony assault of a child.  The infant was transported by ambulance to Pullman Regional Hospital for treatment of abrasions and bruises.

According to the Washington online court docket the case against Brown was reduced to a misdemeanor this morning and was moved to Whitman County District Court.
