The City of Moscow will conduct its annual water system flushing starting on Sunday. The work will run through Thursday night with water flushing taking place in the evenings. The flushing may cause temporary water discoloration which isn’t harmful.
The Whitman County Humane Society based in Pullman is seeking board members. The private nonprofit organization shelters and cares for animals throughout Whitman County. Idaho Fish and Game will be restocking Hordemann Pond in Moscow with rainbow trout next week. The agency will be stocking the pond with 250 catchable-size rainbows that are about 11 inches long.
