Paths in Itani Park in Pullman on Sunnyside Hill are closing for stormwater pond work.
The first phase of the project begins today and will close the paths between Southwest Center Street and Southwest Panorama Drive. That closure is expected to remain in place through Sept. 18.
A second phase is expected to begin around Sept. 14 and will also close the pedestrian paths between Southwest Panorama Drive and Sunnyside Park.
Both sections of the trail system are expected to reopen after the stormwater pond work is completed Sept. 18.
