An Amazon executive is Washington State University’s newest regent.
Governor Jay Inslee has appointed Amazon’s Vice President of Global Real Estate and Facilities John Schoettler to the board. Schoettler and his team manage millions of square feet of real estate across over 50 countries. He graduated from WSU in 1980.
Schoettler begins his term on the WSU Board of Regents on Wednesday. He replaces longtime regent Mike Worthy who has served on the board for 14 years.
