The annual fundraisers for the Lauren McCluskey foundation are this weekend.
The foundation honors the Pullman native who was murdered in Salt Lake City by a man she briefly dated. Lauren was a student athlete at the University of Utah when she was killed on campus.
The annual Lauren McCluskey run for campus safety is at Washington State University on Saturday morning at 9:00. The annual Lauren McCluskey Foundation Dinner and Auction is Saturday night at the Ensminger Pavilion on campus starting at 5:00.
The foundation is also hosting free self-defense classes for women and girls 15 years old and up Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
