The 21st annual Palouse Basin Water Summit is on Tuesday in Pullman.
The yearly event provides the community with an update on the region’s main ground water supply which continues to decline. The summit is hosted by the Palouse Basin Aquifer Committee. The group’s efforts have helped bring down the rate of decline in the local aquifer.
The free summit is at the Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Event Center in Pullman. Doors will open at 4:30.
