Another Suspect From Old St. Ignatius Hospital Break-In And Vandalism Case In Colfax Pleads Guilty

Another suspect from the March break-in and vandalism case at the old St. Ignatius Hospital in Colfax has pleaded guilty.

19-year-old Louis Hibbs of Spokane Valley pleaded guilty Friday to felony vandalism in Whitman County Superior Court.  Hibbs was sentenced to 10 days in jail.

Hibbs and two other Spokane Valley men broke into the old hospital on March 1st and nearly ran over Colfax Police Chief Bruce Blood when he responded to the scene.  The trio fled North on U.S. Highway 195 before being stopped by a Whitman County Sheriff’s Deputy.

The criminal case against the remaining suspect 19-year-old Nick Perez is still pending.
