Armed Suspect Barricaded Inside Kendrick Home Surrenders To Latah County Sheriff’s Deputies

The Latah County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in Kendrick Wednesday morning after he allegedly barricaded himself inside someone else’s house armed with a gun.

Deputies and Idaho State Police responded to Kendrick around 6:30 for a report of an intruder inside a home.  Deputies say the man barricaded himself inside the home with a gun.  There was no one else inside the residence.  Deputies negotiated with the suspect and convinced him to surrender.  He was arrested without incident.  The sheriff’s office determined that the suspect was not an intruder but was an unwanted subject inside the home.
