UPDATE: Maxey turned himself in and is no longer wanted Arrest warrant sought for Moscow man accused in casino theft after failing to appear in court

An arrest warrant is being sought for the Moscow man who allegedly stole from the casino in Pullman.  33 year old Loren Maxey failed to appear at his second straight hearing in Whitman County Superior court Friday.  Authorities are now in the process of finalizing a warrant for Maxey’s arrest.  It will include a 10,000 dollar bond and will be valid throughout the West.  Maxey was arrested by Washington State Gambling Commission Agents in early February after he was allegedly caught on surveillance cameras stealing from Mr. Z’s Casino where he worked.  He reportedly took over 10,000 dollars in cash and over 3,000 dollars in gambling chips.  Maxey allegedly used those stolen chips to gamble at the casino.  He is charged with felony theft, money laundering and forgery.
