Busy Weekend On The Way With UI & WSU Homecoming

It will be a very busy weekend on the Palouse as both universities are hosting homecoming while enjoying successful starts to the football season.

The University of Idaho has a full schedule of activities for homecoming.  The serpentine starts at the UI Golf Course Friday night at 8:00 which will wind its way through campus to the Kibbie Dome.  The homecoming bonfire and royalty crowning begins at 8:30 outside the dome followed by fireworks at 9:15.  Saturday’s homecoming parade starts at 12:30 in downtown Moscow.  UI athletics hall of famer, former senior associate athletic director and volleyball coach Kathy Clark is the parade’s grand marshal.  The UI homecoming football game against Northern Colorado kicks off at 6:00 Saturday night inside the dome.

Washington State University’s homecoming pep rally is at 6:00 Friday night on Flag Lane.  WSU hosts Cal for the homecoming football game at 2:30 on Saturday in Martin Stadium.
