Scouting for Food Food Drive

The annual Scouting for Food Food Drive will be held on Saturday.  Please set your bagged food donation by your front door by 9am Saturday morning, and area scouts will collect it and deliver it to the local food bank.  If no one picks up your bag, call 509.432.6143 for assistance.

The Lost Apple Project presentation by David Benscoter

The Garfield Library will host guest speaker David Benscoter, founder of The Lost Apple Project on Saturday at 11am via zoom.  Hear David speak on the historical importance of apples in the region and how the Project has located several species once thought extinct.  To receive the Zoom link, call any branch of the Whitman County Library.
