The Latah County Human Rights Task Force is asking for nominations for their 2023 Rosa Parks Human Rights Achievement Awards.  They give an award to a community award and to a student.  For more information on criteria for the awards and nomination information visit humanrightslatah.org.  Deadline for nominations is Thursday.

Palouse Habitat for Humanity has re-opened applications for their 2023 home.  Deadline for application is 5:00pm on Tuesday, January 31st.  Program information and application packets are available online at palousehabitat.org/apply, at the Habitat office at 306 N. Inland NW Blood Center has closed its site in the Corporate Pointe Building on Bishop Boulevard. You can still donate blood on the first Friday of each month at Pullman Regional Hospital. INBC will have its Blood Mobile parked in the front of the hospital. Please sign up at www.inbcsaves.org.

The Palouse Divide Nordic Ski Club will hold a free Ski Day on Saturday from 10am-3pm at the Palouse Divide.  There will be free cross country ski and snowshoe rentals, cross country ski lessons, soups, hot drinks, and parking.
