Charter School Approved For Pullman

The first local charter school in Washington has been approved and will be opening next year.

The Washington Charter School Commission on Thursday approved the application for Pullman Community Montessori.  The charter school will be able to teach up to about 250 students in grades K through 9.  Pullman Community Montessori will open in the Fall of next year.  Officials hope to locate the charter school in the Gladish Community Center.
