Chipman Trail Between Pullman & Moscow Back Open Completely-Temporary Path Established Across Burned Bridge

You can once again walk between Pullman and Moscow on the Bill Chipman Palouse Trail.

A portion of the trail near Pullman was closed following an August 19th wildfire that burned a bridge over Paradise Creek.  The Whitman County Parks Department has opened a narrow temporary path over the old wooden train trestle which will have to be replaced.  Officials are still working on a plan to replace the bridge.

Two Moscow boys are accused of starting the fire that burned less than an acre.
