City of Pullman announced Grand Avenue paving project is set to begin Monday

The City of Pullman announced Grand Avenue paving will resume and a couple of other projects are set to begin on Monday, October 3rd.

Drivers can maintain safety around any work zones by slowing down and heeding posted signage and direction from traffic control.

Center Street from Grand to State is currently closed to eastbound traffic, but travelers turning off Grand Avenue onto Center Street can still do so.

If the weather is fair as expected, crews from Motley-Motley, Inc., will re-prep the area and pave the east lane starting Monday. Crews will conduct a one-way flagging operation during this time. Drivers are encouraged to seek an alternate route to avoid delays.

A crew with Welch-Comer Engineers will be surveying downtown Pullman starting Monday and ending Friday, October 7. Work times will be 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Traffic control will close lanes as needed, but not entire streets. Flaggers will be on site to assist. Traffic interruption should be minimal.
