Closure Of SR127 Bridge Over Snake River At Central Ferry South Of Dusty Rescheduled For Thursday

The State Route 127 over the Snake River at Central Ferry South of Dusty will be closed to traffic on Thursday.

The Washington State Department of Transportation is repairing the 54 year old bridge deck this year.  The closure will begin Thursday morning at 11:00 and continue until 1:00 early Friday morning next week.

The work and closure were initially scheduled for today.  The repairs were delayed because the cool wet weather prevented crews from pouring concrete this week.  The weather is forcing the Washington State Department of Transportation to conduct the work during the day.

This is the first of four closures of the bridge during the project which started last month.  The repairs are scheduled to be completed in July which involve weekday traffic delays over the span.
