The 60-day Comment Period for naming the new “edible forest” park in Moscow begins on Wednesday. The park will be located between Southview Avenue and Indian Hills Drive, in the Indian Hills 8th Addition neighborhood. The park is being developed as an edible forest, with food bearing trees, shrubs and other edible plants. Thirty-five names were submitted by members of the public. The Moscow Tree Commission recommended adopting the name “Harvest Park”. The Comment Period will run until 5:00 pm February 1st. Comments on the proposed name can be dropped off in person at the Hamilton Indoor Rec Center, or emailed to David Schott at dschott@ci.moscow.id.us
