The old Pullman Moose Lodge will start coming down on Friday.
The owner of the downtown building Patrick McLaughlin of Spokane is demolishing the structure to put in a parking lot.
The Pullman Moose Lodge stopped using the building several years ago. It was up for sale in 2018. The two story brick building was first built as the Russell Hotel in 1919. It served as the Moose Lodge for 65 years starting in 1953. The building is not listed as an historic structure.
It’s expected to take about a week to tear down the building. There will be street and sidewalk closures at the site. The demolition will take place between 7:00 in the morning and 10:00 at night.
