Gritman Family Medical Center has announced that the Family Promise of the Palouse wellness programs, hosted at the Martin Community Wellness Center in Moscow, need a new location.
The change comes as aging infrastructure and continued maintenance issues are prompting the closure of the Martin Wellness Center pool facility, which is set to shut down in late January 2025.
Family Promise has operated its Day Center out of the space since 2013, now administrators are turning to the community for help in identifying a new space for programs to operate out of starting Spring 2025.
Gritman remains committed to the long-term success of the Martin Wellness Center programs. Non-swimming classes, including Movement Matters and PE for PD, will continue as scheduled at 409 Jackson St.The medical center is set to conduct a comprehensive facilities master plan in 2025 that will assess the Martin Wellness Center building and all properties in the Gritman System.
