Firewood Cutting For Personal Use On Local National Forests In Idaho Free In April & May

Firewood cutting for personal use on the local National Forests in Idaho will be free for 2 months starting on April 1st.  The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests are not requiring a personal use firewood permit for April and May.  You can remove downed timber or cut standing dead trees.  Wood cutters can take up to 12 cords of firewood for personal use.
