The first charter school in Southeastern Washington will open next year in Pullman.
Pullman Community Montessori will begin teaching grades K through 5 in August. The Washington State Charter School Commission approved PCM’s application in July. The public charter school has also received a 1.5 million dollar grant. The five-year grant from the Charter School Program will help pay for launching the school.
PCM will operate in the Gladish Community and Cultural Center in Pullman. The charter school will expand a grade level annual through grade 9.
