Fish and Wildlife patrolled Pullman’s Military Hill Tuesday morning following cougar sightings

A Washington Fish and Wildlife agent was on Pullman’s Military Hill Tuesday morning following several recent cougar sightings in the neighborhood.  Pullman Police Chief Gary Jenkins requested the patrol.  There have been several big cat sightings on the hill in the past week and a half.  Pullman Police haven’t’ received any reports of damage or conflicts involving the cougar.  Fish and wildlife will only remove the animal from town if it gets cornered or treed.
