The Palouse Regional Butterfly Release will be held Saturday at Schmuck Park in Colfax.
The community event provides an opportunity to remember loved ones and reflect on grief and loss. The ceremony will include live music, a prayer and a reading of submitted names before butterflies are released.
The event begins at 11 a.m. and is hosted by Rural Resources Community Action and Friends of Hospice.
