Garfield Library invites families to the annual “Spooky Trail Tales: Take a Walk; Enjoy a Story; Get a Fright” at the Elberton Hiking Trail this Saturday at 6:30 pm.
Selected stories from The Headless Horseman Rides Tonight by Jack Prelutsky are posted along the trail for families to read and discuss while they walk.
To get to the Elberton Hiking Trail from Garfield, take 3rd Street, turn right onto Jefferson Street, continue onto Elberton Road for 4.8 miles, then turn left onto Draper Road.
Participants are encouraged to sign the guest book located at the trail head before starting off.
