The University of Idaho has been awarded the Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission grant by the Idaho Department of Commerce. UI was given a $348,632 grant to assist Aigen Inc. with research and development to build a plant phenotype database to synchronize with a proprietary solar-powered autonomous vehicle. This project will benefit Idaho’s sugar beet industry as well as other Idaho crops.
