Idaho Fish and Game drops steelhead size restrictions from Clearwater basin and portions of Snake River

The Idaho Fish and Game has dropped steelhead size restrictions from the Clearwater basin through different portions of the Snake River.

The size restriction was officially removed today on steelhead fisheries in the Clearwater River basin and Snake River downstream of Couse Creek.

The daily bag limit for steelhead in the Clearwater River, Middle Fork Clearwater, South Fork Clearwater River, and Snake River downstream of Couse Creek will now be one clipped fish of any size.

The North Fork Clearwater River still remains closed to steelhead fishing.
