Idaho Gubernatorial Candidates to join in Forum at UI

Students at the University of Idaho will have two major Republican candidates for Governor together in Moscow for the first time in recent memory. The Food and Agriculture Business Club began planning a community forum for the Governor’s race back in January, inviting the candidates to speak at the UI. Idaho’s lieutenant governor Brad Little and Boise Businessman Tommy Ahlquist–both Republicans–accepted the invite and will be in Moscow Saturday March 10. Club organizers say the forum will give community members a chance to hear directly from the candidates, and to discuss agriculture policy like the re-authorization of the Farm Bill expected in the coming months. The forum will run from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the UI Administration Auditorium, event-goers will have the chance to meet the candidates and ask questions during the event. The Gubernatorial forum is free and open to the public.
