Idaho Primary Election Results-State Senator Dan Foreman & State Representative Lori McCann Win Republican Nominations

The two local Republican Idaho state lawmakers who faced primary challengers have advanced to the November general election.

State Senator Dan Foreman and State Representative Lori McCann won the Republican primary yesterday.  Senator Foreman garnered 53% of the vote over Robert Blair and Representative McCann took 44% of the vote over Colton Bennett who earned 41% and Dave Dalby who received 16% of the vote.

All of the local school district levies passed.  The Troy levy received 67%, the Whitpine School District levy in Deary passed with 65%, the Genesee levy was approved with 60% and the Potlatch levy passed with 52% approval.
