Idaho State Loan Awarded To Water District In Harvard For Two New Wells

The State of Idaho is awarding a 3 million dollar low-interest loan to the water district in Harvard for two new wells.

A state of emergency was declared in Havard two years ago when the Hoo Doo Water District’s well couldn’t produce enough water for the community.  The loan will finance a well house, new water storage facilities, replace meters and the transmission main.  The financing is from the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality.
