All three Idaho university presidents will not seek tuition increases for the 2021-2022 school year if Gov. Brad Little’s proposed higher education budget is approved by the legislature, according to a press release from the Idaho State Board of Education.
The newly proposed budget would restore the $15.4 million cut from last year’s 5% holdback. It would also fund $2.1 million for the enrollment workload adjustment.
If the budget is approved, this would mark the second year in a row that tuition increases wouldn’t be implemented for students.
