Media cameras have been removed from the courtroom in the Bryan Kohberger murder case.
The former Washington State University student is charged with killing four University of Idaho students inside a rental home next to campus in Moscow a year ago. Latah County Second District Court Judge John Judge on Friday granted Kohberger’s motion to remove media cameras from the courtroom. The ruling wasn’t made public until this morning. Judge Judge is allowing the proceedings to be livestreamed on YouTube using court cameras. Judge Judge is banning the public and the media from recording their own video, audio or taking photographs of future hearings.
The former WSU criminal justice student is charged in the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle. Kohberger’s death penalty murder trial date hasn’t been set yet.
