A Moscow home was damaged by fire early Sunday morning.
City of Moscow Volunteer Firefighters were called to the blaze on Bitterroot Street around 2:30. Volunteers found heavy fire and flames extending through the front roof area when they arrived on scene. Six people who were inside the home were evacuated safely. No one was hurt. The home sustained significant fire damage where the blaze started and heavy smoke damage throughout the structure.
The City of Pullman Fire Department was called to assist. Pullman Firefighters responded with an engine. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The American Red Cross is helping the residents who were displaced by the fire.
