The Idaho Community Foundation has announced the appointment of its newest board member, Moscow resident Jon Kimberling.
The lifelong Moscow resident brings decades of leadership experience in business and community service to the role.
After graduating from the University of Idaho Business College in 1978 Kimberling spent 45 years building a successful career in the insurance industry.
Beyond his professional career, Kimberling served two terms on the Moscow City Council and is the co-founder of the Palouse Basin Water Summit and founder of the Officer Newbill Kids Safety Fair.
“Jon’s dedication to service and his deep understanding of the needs of North Idaho make him a tremendous asset to our board,” said ICF President and CEO Steve Burns. “His commitment to philanthropy and community engagement embodies what makes Idaho so special—the spirit of coming together to solve challenges and make life better for future generations.”
