New Cave for Bears at Washington State University

Washington State University Bear Research, Education, and Conservation Center have a new man-made cave. Brandon Hutzenbiler, the center manager, hopes the bears will use it as another place to escape the weather, get some privacy, or play. The structure cost just under $2000, took staff four hours to install and was paid for by a regular donor to the facility. The center hopes to install a second cave in the future.
