The State of Idaho’s new vehicle registration system is causing major delays at the DMV in Moscow.
Transactions that require in-person business are by appointment only. Appointments are reserved for Latah County residents. To make an appointment call 208-883-7211 or email email@example.com and leave a brief message with your name and phone number. It may take up to 3 business days for the DMV to call back. Appointments are being scheduled a week to two weeks out.
Registration renewals can also be processed by mail, online or with the DMV drop box. The drop box is at the South end of the office on Almon Street in Moscow. Their mailing address is 200 South Almon Street Ste 101.
The Moscow DMV is no longer issuing decals for boats, off road vehicle and snowmobiles. Those can be purchased through the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation.
The driver’s license office in Moscow is also taking appointments for in-person business. Appointments can be made online on the county’s website or by calling 208-883-7216 option 1.
