New Viola Community Center project keeps moving ahead

Work is progressing on the long planned for new community center in Viola.  Volunteers recently got the walls up on the facility for the small town North of Moscow.  The roof should be installed next month.  The project is at a critical point as an influx of money is needed for the final phase of work.  About 200,000 dollars in donations and grants has already gone into the center.  There is about 180,000 dollars in work left to go for the interior, HVAC system, bathrooms and kitchen.  When complete the Viola Community Center will be available for events, meetings and will serve as the new home for the ladies quilting club.  Current fundraising efforts include window adoptions and brick purchases.  For more on the Viola Community Center project go to the group’s Facebook page at viola community connections which you can find here
