The 21st annual Family Fair in Pullman will be held Saturday. The fair will feature over 30 Palouse area resources and agencies along with entertainment, door prizes and activities. The Family Fair is from 10:00 to 2:00 Saturday at Lincoln Middle School in Pullman.
The annual Pullman High School FFA plant sale is Saturday morning. It runs from 8:00 to Noon at the PHS greenhouse.
The City of Moscow will host an Arbor Day celebration Friday morning. It’s at 11:00 at the Eggan Youth Center on D Street. Officials will plant a swamp white oak. Attendees will get to take home a free tree seedling.

The Washington spring chinook salmon fishing season on the Lower Snake River opens this weekend. The local opener is for the immediate 3 and a half miles of river downstream from the stateline in Clarkston. Spring chinook salmon fishing on the Snake in Washington is only open Sundays and Mondays.
