A woman was injured when she was hit by a car while walking in a crosswalk in downtown Pullman Monday afternoon.
Pullman Police and fire units were called to the collision around 1:00. Officers say the 21-year-old woman was hit while crossing Paradise Street at Main Street. She was thrown onto the hood of the car and hit the windshield. The woman was transported to the hospital by paramedics. Officers said she was talking with emergency responders.
The 84-year-old woman driving the sedan was ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
