ORIGINAL STORY: A domestic violence suspect was taken into custody with a heavy SWAT police presence this afternoon North of Harvard.
Adam Long was arrested without incident stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident that occurred last night that reportedly involved a gun. The female victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was not taken to the hospital by an ambulance. The Latah County Sheriff’s Office took Long into custody at his home around 12:30. The Latah County SWAT Team and Whitman County SWAT were utilized because of Long’s criminal history and since he allegedly used a firearm during the incident. The Pullman PD’s new armored vehicle that went into service last week was used to help arrest Long peacefully. The Latah County Sheriff’s Office expects to release more information about this case soon.
