Pullman Biotech Company Develops New Surveillance Testing Approach For Coronavirus Using Facemasks

A Pullman biotechnology company has developed a new surveillance testing approach for coronavirus.

Veterinary Medical Research & Development’s new method utilizes samples from facemasks for early detection of COVID-19.  The new process can detect people who are asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic.  A press release from VMRD says the new method has been validated and is available for widespread deployment.  VMRD believes their new coronavirus mask surveillance testing process will help businesses and institutions resume operations in a safe manner.
