The Pullman Fire Department is reminding the public about the dangers of cottonwood fluff.
Each spring the fluff piles up around town especially on College Hill. The fluff is extremely flammable and firefighters normally end up responding to multiple fires every spring. Fire officials are urging residents to wet down the fluff and rake it up for proper disposal.
