Pullman’s newest restaurant offering “modern Chinese food” opens downtown

Pullman’s newest restaurant has opened its doors downtown.  Plum serves modern Chinese food offering fine dining on Grand Avenue.  It opened on Wednesday offering lunch and dinner.  The owner, Kyler Li, decided to open a Chinese restaurant in Pullman when he graduated with a hospitality degree from Washington State University last year.  Li was born in China and doubles as the chef for his eatery which is employing 5 people.  He says he had the idea after spending a lot of his down time cooking Chinese dishes for his friends.  Li believes that his restaurant offers a unique menu for customers.  Plum opens daily at 11:00.  It’s the 3rd new restaurant to open in Pullman this Spring.
