The Rosalia man who started the fires that spread to several abandoned mobile homes at his family’s old trailer park has been sentenced.
65-year-old Tracy Porter was sentenced to 3 months in jail Friday in Whitman County Superior Court. If Porter gets placed on an alcohol monitoring device, he will be able to serve that time out of jail.
Porter previously pleaded guilty to felony 1st degree reckless burning. He started several fires in the abandoned Porter Trailer Park in Rosalia last month to burn overgrown grass. Winds fanned the flames igniting the abandoned trailers.
