A new mural is going up in downtown Pullman.
Seattle artist Tori Shao is painting the mural along the South Fork of the Palouse River on the back wall of the 400 block of East Main Street. The Downtown Pullman Association and the Pullman Arts Foundation are leading the project. Organizers raised over 30,000 dollars for the mural. Shao will begin filling in her Palouse hills design on Wednesday. The mural should be completed during the first week of October.
