Spring Prescribed Burning Winding Down On Local National Forest In Idaho

The U.S. Forest Service is winding down this spring’s prescribed burns in the local national forest in Idaho.

Over 6.000 acres of prescribed burns are being conducted this season in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest.  Local burning continued this week on the Palouse Ranger District.  More ignitions are possible next week.  There will not be any burning this Memorial Day holiday weekend.
