The bridge over the Snake River at Central Ferry South of Dusty will be closed on Friday for repairs.
The Washington State Department of Transportation is closing the State Route 127 bridge starting at 11:00 on Friday morning. The bridge will reopen early Saturday morning at 2:00.
Crews are repairing the concrete deck on the 54 year old bridge this summer. Cool temperatures are forcing WSDOT to conduct this work during the day. This is the first of four closures of the bridge. There are minor traffic delays over the bridge on weekdays. The repairs began last month are set to run into July.
