Construction of the third passing lane segment on State Route 26 West of Colfax was recently completed.
The Washington State Department of Transportation began building the new climbing lane between Colfax and Dusty in early July. The agency has now added three passing lanes on that section of highway. A fourth and final climbing lane will be added between Colfax and Dusty next summer.
