The 2026 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree will make a stop in Moscow later this month as it travels from Idaho to Washington, D.C.
The tree will visit Moscow on Saturday, Oct. 31, as part of a cross-country tour. The free public event on Halloween will give visitors a chance to see and take photos with the tree and truck, sign a banner traveling with the tree and learn more about the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests.
This year’s U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree is coming from the local Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest in Idaho and will eventually be displayed on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
Additional details about the Moscow stop will be announced in the coming weeks.
