UI Football Coach Jason Eck Up For Raise And Contract Extension

University of Idaho Head Football Coach Jason Eck is up for a raise and contract extension.

The Idaho State Board of Education is set to consider approving the extension during its meeting this week.  It would extend Eck’s contract by two years through the 2028 season.  Eck would receive a 75,000 dollar annual raise paid for by the Vandals’ media partner Learfield.  His base salary of 175,000 dollars would remain the same.  If all of the incentives were met Eck could receive a maximum salary of 462,000 dollars.  Rhe first year buyout in the proposed deal is worth 525,000 dollars.

Eck led Vandal football to the playoffs in his first two seasons.
