The University of Idaho has hired Oregon State University running backs coach Thomas Ford to lead the Vandal football program.
Ford spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons with the Vandals as special teams coordinator and running backs coach under former Head Coach Jason Eck. Coach Eck left the UI over the weekend to take the head football coach job at the University of New Mexico.
